**Main Purpose of the Role**:
Drive the Company's training and organizational development strategy at the factory level, ensuring that skills, competencies and performance of employees meet the needs of the unit.
**Responsibilities**:
1.
Supports the Factory Manager and Site HR Head in driving developmental change initiatives required by the unit, either factory wide or at team-level
2.
Ensures that the design of developmental initiatives are aligned with Corporate directions.
3.
Assists the Site HR Head in managing talent / succession plans and performance management, including the PDG, PMBS, and PEP
4.
Drives the Learning & Development function in the factory, as such:
- Develops the appropriate training and development interventions to address competency gaps among the employees, independently or in partnership with external parties or internal Subject Matter Experts.
- Manages training systems, including the conduct of training needs analysis, monitoring of factory training calendar, training budget and coordination of in-house training
- Conducts & facilitates training programs if necessary
- Conducts regular reviews and discussions to monitor the effectiveness of the programs implemented.
5.
Oversees the recruitment function in the factory, including the Academe-Industry Linkage Program
6.
Plays an active role in the MDWT Core Team and provides developmental interventions in support thereof (ex: Developing Leaders as Coaches)
7.
Is the main HR contact for an assigned unit within the factory, coordinating their HR needs and providing advice on various HR matters
Required Qualifications
1.
3 - 5 years in an HR generalist or specialist function, at least 2 years experience in an L&D specialist role
2.
College graduate, preferably of psychology, management, or any related course
3.
Familiarity with other aspects of HR including compensation management, benefits policies and labor law
