Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineer - Civil and Fabric to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, construction, and maintenance of various facilities with a focus on civil and fabric aspects. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and develop plans that meet their requirements. Additionally, you will provide expert advice and guidance on facilities engineering to ensure the efficient and safe operation of civil and fabric systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional certifications in civil engineering will be highly advantageous.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic language will be an added advantage.
Years of Experience: +5 Years in Facilities Engineering with a focus on civil and fabric systems.
B1. Plans, schedules and provides work direction as required for preparation of designs, reports, correspondence and related data and assures the efficiency, adequacy and conformance to overall objectives of all phases of very complex design problems. 2. Develops, plans and coordinates activities of maintenance work, repair and preventive maintenance for civil and fabric systems, maintenance equipment requirements and utilization. 3. Responds to emergency requests for repairs in a timely and safely manner keeping the customer informed of the progress; ensure the proper measurement is taken to prevent future incidents. 4. Formulates the basis for an engineering study by providing rationale and facility requirement forecast in any of several basic or special engineering fields. Evaluates data as to scope, effect on existing civil and fabric systems, economic value, and long-range planning and budgetary considerations. 5. Initiates detailed work outline and makes decision as to basic approaches, processes, and/or equipment for civil and fabric systems. Performs work and/or delegates work to other engineers for final development of specialized or technical proposals and proposed projects. 6. Brings all elements of a project together, makes certain that all elements proceed satisfactorily on schedule and initiates corrective action as required for civil and fabric systems. 7. Recommends new installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization within broad fields of endeavor. Estimates costs, prepares justifications and completes expenditure requests as required for civil and fabric systems. 8. Reviews (Direct Charge), prepared by the different divisions to ensure that the right quantities and descriptions are adhered to and that duplication is eliminated. Progresses and expedites direct change orders for office material and furniture. 9. Maintains close contact with operating supervisors in the Office Services and Building Maintenance groups. These contacts are essential to fully evaluate the collective effect on current and future spare parts and material requirements that may result from modifications, expansion or changes in equipment or building specifications for civil and fabric systems. Liaises with Materials Control, Purchasing and Receiving and Shipping Divisions for civil and fabric systems. 10. Corresponds with Engineering, Construction, Purchasing Offices, as applicable regarding specifications, new sources or new items on the market for civil and fabric systems. Orders, receives and evaluates and arranges to have tested, new civil and fabric equipment and materials to be used in the offices. 11. Forecasts and orders materials for new civil and fabric projects and ensures that the coordination between staff and operations, insofar as the material ordered and received, coincides for civil and fabric systems. 12. Advises the Unit Supervisor on design and layout standards, codes and overall design philosophy for civil and fabric systems. 13. Reviews user requests for office space layout or internal design, evaluates the justification for the request considering benefits and costs, identifies and evaluates alternatives and initiates professional response letters to clients for civil and fabric systems. 14. Examines size and scope of layout/design, effect on building services, requirements for civil and fabric systems, equipment and space and functional relationships between users. Determines and plans the approach to be used in executing the design and identifies and resolves any associated problems which may impact on the detailed design for civil and fabric systems 15. Assigns the detailed design work brief to design staff and reviews and oversees progress and quality of design for civil and fabric systems. 16. Reviews the proposed layout/design to ensure that designs meet both user requirements and are consistent with company codes and standards; ensures that designs take account of general building facilities, e.g. electrical, plumbing, by liaising with the appropriate engineering personnel. Ensures that the design is within any cost limits and that any necessary civil and fabric equipment/materials are available. Presents proposals to the client where the scope of the job is significant, e.g. a complete floor or building, a major conference facility. Resolves any problems and guides the design until the client is satisfied for civil and fabric systems. 17. Ensures that the data bases used on the Design System are properly maintained for civil and fabric systems. 18. Reviews the final job package which includes final working drawings; details of resource requirements and any special notes; job history sheet; prior to handing the package to the Move Coordinator for implementation for civil and fabric systems. 19. Performs any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager for civil and fabric systems. Salary is not a constraint ,company is looking for right candidate .
