Job Description Summary:
He/She will be responsible keeping track External MFG New Product Introduction and New Product Release metrics by ensuring buy-off schedules and timelines are met and delivered per BU/SCM request and requirements.
Job Description:
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
Keep track of New Product Development and product transfers to External MFG sites and ensure readiness of the site prior transfers
Collaborate with Resident Engineers, Site planners and Supply Chain analyst to ensure transfers are executed timely
Work with Resident Engineers for any product issues
Work with Hardware capacity planner for HW schedules and deliveries
Own and track NPI/NPR metrics for External MFG and ensure we're hitting the desired goal per week
Regular review of NPI Checklist to check items that will gate release of buy-offs in a timely manner
Conduct weekly call with Resident engineers
Weekly review of Priority transfers and NPI Buy-off to ensure target dates are met
Monitor PCN closure and equivalency data are timely provided by Test Development EngineerQualification Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Graduate or any similar Engineering courses
3 to 5 years of experience and exposure to any of the following fields – Production Planning, 2. Capacity Planning, Subcon Planning and other IE related functions
Knowledgeable of planning systems and tools. With good communication skills both written and verbal. SAP knowledge is an advantage
