The purpose of the Events, Partnerships & Trade Marketing Manager is to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of events, partnerships, and trade marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. This role is responsible for developing strategic marketing plans in this space, from strategizing the partnership approach, and seeking out and fostering relationships to managing end-to-end event execution and enhancing brand presence in trade channels. The position aims to achieve high ROI on marketing investments, strengthen relationships with partners, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
Job Description: Event Planning & Execution Develop and manage the annual calendar for B2C & B2B events across markets. Coordinate all event logistics, including planning, promotion, execution, and post-event analysis.Number of events successfully executed per quarter/year.Achievement of event-specific KPIs (e.g., lead generation, database collated, attendee satisfaction, ROI).Budget adherence Partnership Development & Management Number of new partnerships established and executed per quarter.Partner satisfaction score (measured via surveys or feedback).Increase in co-branded campaigns and joint event activations.Revenue and brand awareness uplift from partnership activities.Trade Marketing Execution Increase in sales volume in trade channels Execution of trade promotions and merchandising initiatives within deadlines.Growth in market share within key retail accounts.ROI on trade marketing investments (e.g., promotional spend vs. sales uplift).Marketing Campaign Management On-time and on-budget delivery of marketing campaigns.Achievement of campaign objectives (e.g., lead acquisition, brand awareness, conversion rates).Click-through rates (CTR), engagement rates, and conversion rates for digital campaigns.Budget Management & Cost Efficiency Budget utilization Cost savings achieved through vendor negotiations and partnerships.Cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and ROI metrics for marketing initiatives.Market & Competitor Analysis Quarterly reports on market trends and competitor activities.Implementation of data-driven marketing strategies.Increase in market share within targeted segments.Stakeholder & Team Collaboration Internal stakeholder satisfaction scores.Timely communication and updates on campaign and event progress.Collaboration success (measured via project outcomes and feedback).Conduct competitor pricing exercises as required. Job Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Marketing or any business courseMaster's Degree is a plus factorMinimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is usually expected for this role. This experience should ideally cover:Event Planning and Management: Organizing and executing corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and promotional events.Partnership Management: Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, including experience with sponsor negotiations and partner collaborations.Trade Marketing: Implementing trade marketing strategies to drive product visibility, increase sales, and engage with retail or channel partners.Marketing Campaigns: Experience in planning, executing, and analyzing integrated marketing campaigns.Budget Management: Proven track record of managing budgets, cost forecasting, and delivering events or marketing activities within budget.Experience in a manufacturing industry such as FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods and Pet foods.
