About the Role
As an Engineer Chapter Lead in our Storage Infrastructure team, you'll play a key role in uplifting the capability and extending coverage of our storage team across on-premises and our cloud storage requirements. This role is primarily focused on the technical and people aspects of our NAS and object storage footprint. It's also a partner role to the Chapter Lead in Melbourne, which is more SAN and Storage infrastructure focused. Although this role focuses on the more Network Attached storage side of our operation, it crosses over into, and supports the full storage capability delivered by our team where required. What will your day look like?
As an Engineer Chapter Lead, you will:
Act as the line manager to the team of engineers in Manila.Work with engineers and product owner to design and implement changes, platform upgrades and supports operations.Show thought leadership with key focus on growth, performance, and the technical delivery in relation to our storage fleet.Foster collaboration to build innovative solutions.Utilize tools and best practices to build, verify and deploy solutions in the most efficient ways, while enhancing the technology division capabilities.Drive efficiency through simplification and automation.Implement a culture within the Chapter, by encouraging best practices and the use of ANZ methodologies for high-quality delivery and documentation.What will you bring?

Strong experience in Storage infrastructure and team management with a great understanding of technology architecture.Extensive experience in influencing and delivering outcomes through others.A proven ability to innovate and adapt to the latest developments inside of ANZ and broader industry knowledge of trends, risks, and opportunities.The ability to communicate and work with multiple stakeholder groups (internal/external), bringing multiple teams/capabilities together to achieve a single mission.Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision maker.Quick learner – able to consume information quickly to be able to operate and make great decisions.Sought out as a credible guide, coach, or mentor.Role model behaviors for ANZ Values and our Ways of Leading.A good storyteller and public speaker, and great communicator.Strong stakeholder management, especially our customers (platform and application teams), and our suppliers and vendors.Care for and nurture the growth of their chapter members to ensure they are inspired by a sense of purpose and are continually building their mastery and autonomy.Actively connects outside and inside ANZ to leverage latest thinking, providing practical/relevant ideas, improvements, and fit-for-purpose solutions.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
