Electro-Technician

* Responsible for the installation, maintain, repair and troubleshooting of electrical wiring, electronic parts, equipment and fixtures in particular with various heavy equipment controls and its accessories.
* Conduct preventive maintenance program, and periodic inventory of tools spare parts.
* Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
* Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
* Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
* Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
* Coordinate with the Chief Mechanic and/or Equipment Admin In-Charge for the spare parts, tools, etc. needed. Initiate job request and parts request form
* Assist with the Equipment Group for the transfer of various Heavy Equipment and its accessories to the other sites if needed.
* Perform other duties related as required or assigned by the management.
