Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Preventive Maintenance Specialist
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong focus on preventive maintenance for panel boards and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and transportation. This role requires hands-on experience in managing electrical systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation, and performing scheduled maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Design: Develop electrical systems for buildings, power distribution networks, and industrial applications, including layout and arrangement of circuits, transformers, and control systems. Develop: Contribute to the creation of electrical components and equipment, including motors, appliances, and complex systems. Test: Ensure all electrical equipment meets specifications, standards, and safety codes through rigorous testing and inspection. Install: Oversee the setup and installation of electrical systems, ensuring proper function and adherence to design specifications. Maintain: Lead preventive maintenance activities for power stations, transmission and distribution systems, panel boards, and industrial facilities to optimize performance and extend equipment life. Research: Investigate new solutions and technologies, focusing on power generation, transformers, and renewable energy options. Analyze: Use data analysis to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, enhancing system reliability and safety. Communicate: Work closely with clients and team members to convey technical information, prepare reports, and provide presentations on system performance and improvement recommendations. Manage: Coordinate resources, schedules, and budgets for electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and cost-efficiency. Ensure Compliance: Stay updated on safety and regulatory requirements to guarantee full compliance with industry standards and legislation. Tools and Technologies: Proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating electrical layouts and diagrams. Experience with engineering software for planning and analysis. Familiarity with both high and low voltage equipment. Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming is a plus.
