Position/Job Title: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Reports to Maintenance Manager
Work Location: Sabang, Baler Philippines
WORK SCHEDULE: 6 times per week, 8 AMto 5 PM (time and off may be flexible)
Job Purpose:
Electrical Engineer ensures the efficient and safe operation of all electrical systems and equipment within the property. Their role is pivotal in maintaining a comfortable and secure environment for guests and staff while upholding the resort's operational standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, elevators, fire alarm systems, and other electrical infrastructure within the resort.
? Overseeing the installation of new electrical systems, equipment, and upgrades. This involves planning, designing, and implementing electrical projects while adhering to safety standards and local regulations.
? Ensuring that all electrical systems meet safety codes and standards. Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve potential safety hazards.
? Implementing energy-efficient solutions and technologies to optimize power consumption and reduce utility costs without compromising guest comfort or safety.
? Be involved in projects related to entertainment systems, audiovisual equipment, spa facilities, and any other amenities that rely on electrical systems
? Perform electrical maintenance.
? Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, equipment specifications, and compliance reports. Providing reports to management as necessary.
? Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of solar panels.
? Responsible for the efficient and safe installation of solar panels on the resort.
? Perform preventive maintenance of solar panels, batteries and cables.
? Check and repair all broken or damaged appliances.
? Receive and respond to any maintenance complaint which requires technical skill.
? Keep all necessary maintenance tools.
? Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
? 1-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
? Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium, etc.).
? Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
? Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary Range (Php): 25k - 40k
