CREWING SUPERINTENDENT – DREDGING Job Summary:
To improve our organizational structure and achieve our goals and objectives by monitoring various manpower resources and ensuring improvement of marine crewing, its efficiency, planning and optimization in close coordination with Admin/HR Department. Will be fully responsible for the crew, its movement, planning and all other functional and administrative issues, resource pool database and the rest of the operational manpower. Focus on JCPCI business priorities while meeting customer demands.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Reallocation of all marine crew after approval with all concerned line managers.Liaising with the other Department Heads for the recruitment of Deck and Engine Officers.Monitoring manning levels and forecasting manning needs for all vessels.Maintaining crew lists of current manning in respect of each vessel.Monitor and maintain crew leaves in coordination with all concerned.Manage crew timesheets in coordination with all units and line manager and pass for administration to process.Maintain CV database & crew employment offers and regularly update salary scale as per HR advice.The identification of hiring/promotion needs as well as the determination of required qualifications and skills.Consistently evaluates the performance of all seafarers to ensure the above requirements.Maintains updated records for all seafarers' documentation (Passport, Leaves, Exit & Entry, certificates).Maintain updated record of all terminated, resigned crew and perform the exit interview.Pooling suitable seagoing personnel and keeping full records.Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.Experience in Dredging/Marine Project, with dredging background especially in CSD.Proactively share knowledge and understanding with others.Show understanding of tasks and responsibilities and achieve targets timely.Pursue to be result-oriented and be aware of the result-oriented organizational culture.Support colleagues to achieve the common goals.Proactively serve and constructively respond to client needs in order to meet business priorities.Collaborate constructively and effectively with all colleagues throughout the organization.Show respect, flexibility and loyalty towards colleagues throughout the organization.Communicate clearly.Able to adequately solve problems or disputes. If necessary, involve the supervisor timely.Experience in Dredge Centrifugal Pumps Control Systems & Instrumentation.Knowledge in T.I.D. Soil Analysis, Cutter Suction dredgers and Hydraulic Transport.Salary: To be discussed during the interview
