The Court Stenographer:
1. takes stenographic notes on all matters that transpire during court hearings or preliminary investigations and transcribes them;
2. takes down and transcribes, in final form, dictations of the Judge/ Clerk of Court; and
3. does related work.
Applicants must show the qualifications and submit the requirements below:
1. Education - Completion of two (2) year studies in college with at least 72 academic units earned leading to a bachelor's degree; and units / short course in stenography. To be clear, a bachelor's degree is not required. Submit an authenticated copy of the Transcript of Records (Duly certified by the School Registrar);
2. Eligibility - Career Service Subprofessional (First Level Eligibility). Submit Two (2) authenticated copies of the Civil Service Eligibility with the Official Receipt or authenticated copies of Board Rating and PRC License with the Official Receipt;
3. Work Experience - Two years of relevant experience; and
4. Trainings/Seminars - Eight (8) hours of relevant training. Submit proof of completion of training/s.
They must also submit the following:
1. letter of application addressed to the Honorable Acting Presiding Judge Rodrigo F. Pascua, Jr.;
2. the documentary requirements above;
3. Four (4) copies of properly, completely and recently accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CSC Forms 212, Rev. 2017) with latest passport- size pictures; and
4. Sworn Affidavit by the applicant that he or she has no incumbent relative/s within the 3rd degree of consanguinity or affinity in our office.
