Qualifications:
BS/ BA degree required in accounting field. CPA certification a plus.
At least 8 years related work experience in a related accounting environment and 5 years of Supervisory Level role.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, internal control systems, and understanding of manufacturing and inventory control are required.
Advanced level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint software.
With physical inventory and cycle count experience in a cost environment
With working knowledge on ERP, Oracle exposure is a plus
Ability to work with all levels of employees
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to independently anticipate, organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities
Proficient in handling at least 2 areas in the section of discipline
Proficient in the following: System Maintenance and Oracle Proficiency, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Data Analysis and Process Improvement, Inventory Management and Auditing
Must be willing to start ASAP
Must be willing to work in Calamba, Laguna
Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs professional cost accounting functions that involve the application of established cost accounting standards, principles, and practices.
Maintains, analyses & Improve (if any) the company's cost accounting system(s).
Leads Product Margin analysis, Identifies factors in low margin and recommends actions
Oversees performance and output of Costing Staff.
Performs Oracle cut-off procedures and Costing module closing.
Ensure completeness and timeliness of month end reports and analysis for operation.
Assists operations in data analysis and improvements.
Oversees Cycle cycle count performance and wall to wall count, if any.
Publish Inventory reports and Aging analysis
Ensure SOX compliance in key control items
Prepares complex journal entries, maintain and reconcile specific cost accounting ledgers.
Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
