Cost Accounting Officer

COST ACCOUNTING OFFICERJob Responsibilities:A. COST EXPENDITURES MANAGEMENT1. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.2. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reportsthat compare budgeted costs to actual costs.3. Performing account reconciliations4. Assist in month-end closing activities by ensuring that costs arerecorded in the correct period and charged to the appropriate costcenters.5. Validate inventory variances during physical inventory counts, assigncosts, and record inventory adjustments in NetSuite.6. Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management7. Managing the company's balance sheet and accounting booksB. COST ANALYSIS1. Assist in product costing for pricing purposes and financialanalysis.2. Identifies areas for improvement and provides recommendations inenhancing cost accounting processes, including the tracking of costs andinternal controls in NetSuite.3. Assist in developing standard costs and perform monthly varianceanalysis between actual production costs and standard costs.4. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financialcommitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses orto provide advice.5. Recommending changes to the company's processes and policies toreduce cost and maximize profit.EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: •BS AccountancyLICENSURE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT •Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is advantageWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: •6 years of more experience in amanagerial capacity handling accounting functionStarting salary: 30k
