CORPORATE QA MANAGER
(Quality Assurance (QA))
To be based in Cebu
Job Purpose:
? Responsible in ensuring that products meet specified standards so that the
Company puts out quality products. Creates a strong network among the Plant
QA Department Heads in their area of responsibility. Leads a cross-functional
team to support QA especially in critical areas of PRD, Operation, Materials
Management including Sales and Marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
? Manages effectively the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) that
results in the reduction of processing rejects and damages, uniformity and
consistency of quality products at their most cost-effective, profitable run.
? Uses productively the QA Department resources to establish effective control of
Incoming Materials, In-Process Operations and Outgoing Finished Goods.
? Develops progressively the technical skills and competencies of QA Personnel
and their productive deployment.
? Reduces the level of Customer Complaints to NIL, least attend to them positively
to a more appreciable outcome.
? Prepares, reviews and approves Technical and Quality Agreements. Ensures
appropriate investigation of discrepancies, errors, complaints, failures or adverse
effects for proper resolutions.
? Identifies and develops the Quality Team structure. Provides direction and
guidance to the Quality Team.
? Prepares and justifies the Quality Department's budget.
? Manages, motivates, coaches and mentors direct reports to higher levels
management capability.
? Ensures good relations and communications with all members of the team and
responding politely in a timely passion to internal and external customers.
? Works with all team members to maintain and develop the positive progressive
culture with the organization.
? Observes and complies with GMP & Food Safety Regulations and Company
Health & Safety Policies.
Position Qualification:
? College graduate, with Bachelor's Degree of at least four (4) year course
preferably in BS Food Technology, BS Food Engineering and any related course.
? In-depth understanding in Quality Assurance strategies, principles and dynamics.
? With management experience of at least five (5) years in Quality Assurance,
preferably in Food Manufacturing setting.
? With Basic Sensory Evaluation Skills and GMP/HACCP Training
? Good Leadership and People Handling Skills
? Physically and mentally fit preferably assertive, pro active, open minded, with
excellent communication skills.
? Excellent Technical, Analytical, Problem-solving and Decision-making Skills
? Computer literate (MS/Excel/Power Point Presentation).
