As a key Corporate Legal Counsel, you will navigate complex regulations and protect the company's interests, provide strategic counsel on all stages of property acquisition, development and management. Working closely with top management, you'll ensure that our projects align with legal and compliance standards, contributing to our mission of creating impactful and sustainable developments.
Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Law and must be a licensed attorney in good standing in the Philippines.5+ years of relevant experience in corporate law, preferably with a focus on real estate, property law, land acquisition, and development.Experience working with real estate developers, property management firms, or in a similar industry is a strong advantage.Skills & Knowledge In-depth knowledge of Philippine real estate laws, property registration, land use regulations, zoning laws, and other legal frameworks related to real estate development.Proficiency in corporate governance, contract law, compliance, litigation, and risk management.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and procedures for real estate transactions, including dealings with government agencies like the HLURB (Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board), SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), and LGUs (Local Government Units).Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills to handle complex legal issues effectively.Strong drafting skills for agreements, legal opinions, contracts, and memorandums.Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice and support on real estate acquisitions, property development projects, joint ventures, leases, sales transactions, and other related matters.Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements including purchase agreements, lease agreements, construction contracts, and joint venture agreements.Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including securing permits and approvals necessary for development projects.Represent the company in legal proceedings, mediation, and negotiations involving property disputes, land claims, or regulatory issues.Advise senior management on risk assessment and strategic legal planning related to real estate ventures.Collaborate with external legal counsel on specialized cases or when additional legal support is needed.Personal Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in legal documentation and compliance.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of professionalism and ethical integrity.Strong communication skills to effectively convey legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
