Your Role: As a Compliance Auditor, you will:
Conduct multiple risk consulting, audit and assurance engagements with a specific emphasis on compliance with rules and methods within various schemes in the energy, climate change and sustainability field.Assist in developing advice and providing assurance on ESG and sustainability reporting under frameworks and standards such as IFRS Sustainability Standards, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).Maintain strong budgetary discipline ensuring there are no major overruns. Ability to plan effective and realistic budgets.Perform technical and operational reviews for a range of clients with differing risk profiles.Maintain and complete Engagement Files (i.e. electronic working papers) in a timely manner for Manager/Partner review.Summarize the key areas of the engagement for the Partner/Principal/Manager.Identify potential issues and document issues and proposed recommendations for Partner/Management attention.Draft engagement reports in conjunction with Partner/Principal/Manager that provide practical and commercial business advice.Identify and refer ethical and conflict issues to Partner/Principal and/or Manager.Develop a detailed understanding of client systems, processes and internal control environment.Keep on top of key industry factors.Assist Partner/Principal and/or Managers in business development and marketing activities.Contribute to meetings and make effective presentations.What You Need: 2+ years assurance or technical advisory experience preferably within Professional Services or a relevant industry position.Understanding of environment and energy compliance and reporting requirements and legislation.Strong understanding of risk management (risk assessment, mitigation and remediation) and the ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard.Strong understanding of effective governance processes and controls, including compliance operational and performance focused reviews.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills.Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
