You'll be empowered to focus on your career progression and turn your goals into reality as an integral part of the group's success.**About the Role**The Commercial Reporting Analyst must provide a range of reporting and analysis services to commercial management and other members of staff who are located in Canon Business Services (CBS), which assists with achieving sustainable growth in line with the overall business strategy; provide support on data and reports to the CBS Sales & Marketing teams and other areas of the business as directed; and ensure that data/reports are correct and delivered in a timely manner. The role will be assigned the following responsibilities:- Provide data analysis, data modelling and reports to support decision making;- Create reports based on specifications provided by the business;- Provide daily sales reporting to Sales and Marketing teams;- Escalate problems relating to data and reporting tools to IT for resolution;- Communicate to the business regarding interruption to reporting services;- Provide of data for the purposes of forecasting, campaigns, and product launches etc as requested;- Responsible for creation/maintenance of templates, processes, data management & reporting;- Provide timely and relevant information to CBS to maximise business opportunities via data.- Development of reporting tools to service the business;- Strong supporting role to CBS in all aspects of data management and reporting function;- Translate business requests into useable information;- Ensure goodwill exists between Canon and its customers, by maintaining a good working relationship and acting professionally at all times;- Ensuring enquiries received from employees and management are handled and resolved satisfactorily in a friendly, helpful and timely manner.**Qualifications**- Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience- Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems/IT/Business studies.- Proven experience in a time critical analytical role (ability to meet strict deadlines).- Advanced Microsoft Access/Excel, SQL Server and VBA desirable.- At least 2 years of working experience using Power BI- Strong data modelling, documentation skills and high standards of professionalism with what you do.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Excellent communication skills (assertiveness/confidence).- Good rapport with internal and external customers.- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlikview,- Understanding of data warehousing/multi-dimensional cube design.)If this sounds like you, we'd love you to apply!We believe in the power of an inclusive and diverse workforce.
