Collection Strategy Specialist

Job Overview:
As a Strategy Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our debt collection strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to provide actionable insights and assist in creating robust data analysis frameworks that empower our collections team to effectively manage and reduce aging collections. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement debt collection strategies to minimize aging collections and improve recovery rates.
Data Analysis: Utilize tools like Python, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, telephony and excel to analyze and interpret complex data sets, providing actionable insights to the debt collection team.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to debt collections, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
Collaboration: Work closely with the debt collection team, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategies and objectives.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing debt collection processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to optimize strategies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategy development, data analysis, or a similar role, preferably within the financial services or debt collections industry.
Strong expertise in Python, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Excel for data analysis and visualization.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Project Management - ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
