Responsibilities:
3.1 Engages in marketing intelligence (i.e. gathering of information/data on (a) customers and their business developments; (b) demand, pricing, and buying trends
of products, (c) competition, and keeps up to date with global and local news and events to ensure profitability of handled accounts.
3.2 Provides reliable and timely information to colleagues, direct supervisor, and COO.
3.3 Develops and maintains healthy relationships with customers through regular visits, telephone calls, and e-mail.
3.4 Projects and monitors target volume of handled customers on a regular basis and ensures that sales target is met while maximizing gross margins.
3.5 Obtains and processes customers' orders including pricing and sales orders preparation.
3.6 Ensures timely collection of customers' outstanding accounts.
3.7 Directly handles customer requests on amendments to current credit terms/limits.
3.8 Identifies and proposes new market and business opportunities.
• Engages in extensive research, planning, and designing of specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, and time-bound strategies for the development of new and existing market(s) and business opportunities.
3.9 Attends to phone-in inquiries from customers and potential customers including technical matters, preparation, and sending of quotations.
3.10 Handles customer concerns/complaints and coordinates with relevant personnel/department (including a laboratory for product quality complaints; backlogs and backloads), if necessary.
JOB DESCRIPTION
3.11 Consistently monitors and checks the quantity of products in stock.
3.12 Collaborates with the Supply and Operations to check on the supply and progress of existing customer(s) orders.
3.13 Represent the company in business/industry groups' affairs, exhibits, and meetings.
3.14 Schedules risk appraisal audit of customers' facilities and arranges safety training seminars in coordination with the HSE-Q Adviser.
QUALIFICATIONS: BS Chemical Engineer / BS Chemistry GraduateA minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the chemicals industry.With a driver's licenseExcellent presentation, negotiation, and demonstration skillsGood communication, customer service, and writing skills
