Job DescriptionDescriptionDevelop and execute category strategies for bakery products, focusing on sugar, flour, and fresh and shelf-stable bakery items.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and make data-driven buying decisions.Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing and sales, to ensure alignment of product strategies with business goals.Manage category performance by monitoring sales, profitability, and inventory levels, adjusting strategies as needed.Lead negotiations with suppliers, optimizing terms, costs, and contracts to achieve financial targets.Stay updated on industry trends to bring innovative, high-demand products to the market.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.Proven experience in category buying or procurement within the bakery, sugar, or flour sectors, with a focus on commercial and retail perspectives.Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and achieve cost efficiencies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must be flexible and willing to be assigned in Rizal or Cavite area.
