Cad Operator/ Draftsman

Job Title: CAD Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Develop detailed and accurate CAD drawings for furniture designs based on customer specifications and sketches.
*Collaborate with the design team to translate concepts into technical drawings that align with manufacturing requirements.
*Ensure that drawings are optimized for production efficiency and quality standards.
*Make revisions to drawings as needed to accommodate design modifications or manufacturing adjustments.
*Create 3D renderings and visualizations of furniture designs to aid in the design review processes.
*Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy access and reference.
*Coordinate with customers for any design revisions.

Qualifications:

*Previous experience working as a CAD Operator in the furniture manufacturing industry is preferred.
*Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD 3D, SolidWorks, or similar programs, with a focus on furniture design applications.
*Strong knowledge of furniture construction and manufacturing processes.
*Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings for furniture production; can visualize finished products and projects.
*Ability to work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams.
*With Architectural background (degree or undergrad - with or without license)
*Certification or training in CAD drafting specifically for furniture design is a plus.
