SimCorp Advanced Delivery Center (ADC) was strategically established, initially in 2016 in Warsaw, Poland, and subsequently extended to Manila, Philippines in 2021 and Mexico City in 2023. This deliberate expansion enables us to efficiently connect with clients spanning EMEA, APAC, and NA. Within the ADC, our Business Consultants collaborate closely with market units, focusing on business functionality and solution workflows. Their expertise ensures the customized configuration and seamless deployment of SimCorp Dimension for our valued customers.
Why the role is important to us The BI/Reporting Consultant is a highly skilled professional who forms part of our Professional Services team, working within Consulting Services and is based within the Advanced Delivery Center. The main purpose of the role is to provide expert advice and functional delivery in the successful deployment of SimCorp Client Reporting products (CORIC, Qlik, or Power BI) and services within a client's environment.
What you will be responsible for Act as a trusted Client advisorModel data for Client reportingImplement and test reporting solutions for top Clients from Investment Management sectorDesign and build data presentation layouts and automation workflowsFacilitate requirements gathering workshops in business and technical-related areasDocument client requirements and map to SimCorp Coric functions, processes, and data sourcesTest and optimize reporting process and tools to meet performance and data quality requirementsIdentify areas of improvements and efficiencies where possible to maximize value creation for the ClientLeverage project experience to define the scope and estimate level of effort required for deliveryDemonstrate growth as a SME for the SimCorp products or technologiesParticipate in company knowledge sharing culture, contribute to content creationWhat we value Min. 7 years of IT professional experienceVery good understanding of database concepts, data warehouse (ETL/ELT concepts included) and data modeling for reportingExperience with MS SQL databases (SQL queries, writing stored procedures in T-SQL)Experience with enterprise reporting solutions (Crystal Reports, Jasper or similar)Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense/View will be a great plusBasic knowledge of financial instruments and markets or experience working with data/processes related to financial servicesPrior experience with consulting/professional servicesFeel comfortable with project work delivery (member of project teams organized as an agile or waterfall)Experience with business requirements gathering and clarification including direct work with business usersGood communication skills and confidence in client-facing rolesExperience working in international/multicultural environmentHighly welcome Prior experience with workflow automation solutionsExperience with SQL Server Integration Services or similar data integration and data transformations solutionsFamiliarity with cloud environments (preferred Azure)Ability to coordinate small projects, workstreams or work groups as a leading consultantWillingness to develop your career as a consultant in data engineering field for fintech sectorBenefits Flexible working hours and working model (on-site/hybrid)HMO coverage and group life insuranceMonthly allowances (rice, transportation, internet)13th month pay and annual performance bonusProfessional training and courses (starting from a 3-week SimCorp Dimension Academy)Possibility to develop your career in an international environmentIntegration events and charity projectsNew office located in Bonifacio Global CityIn addition, we provide a good work and life balance and opportunities for professional development in an international environment: there is never just only one route - we offer an individual approach to professional development to support the direction you want to take.
