Qualifications: Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Laws. Must be a Philippine Bar passer with at least 4 years of experience in legal practice. With at least 2 years work experience in a financial institution is preferred. Knowledgeable of the regulations of BSP and other regulatory bodies (MORB, BI, DOLE, SEC, NPC). Must be familiar with financial regulations, contract reviews, labor disputes, litigation, preparation of pleadings, reports and memorandum, commercial arbitration, data privacy, and protection. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and guidance on the application of laws (banking, commercial, civil, labor, and arbitration). Draft and review legal documents including but not limited to loan documentation for syndicated loans, short-term loans, bilateral agreements, customer's Secretary's Certificate/SPAs, trade finance instruments, terms and conditions of bank applications/forms, notices, demand letters, service agreements, contract of lease. Conduct study sessions on topics that have legal implications for the Bank. Draft manuals, policies, guidelines, and procedures of the Bank. Assist in the conduct of administrative proceedings against employees; and Solve problems and escalate to the Legal Adviser if necessary.
