Associate Iii Import And Export (Hazmat) - Hybrid - Night Shift

Drake's top client – an IT company is hiring an Associate III, Import/Export (Hazmat Classification) to be part of their collaborative team in Taguig City (Hybrid).

Summary:

The Associate III, Import/Export (Hazmat Classification) role is responsible for ensuring that hazardous materials are accurately classified according to regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting thorough analyses, maintaining detailed records, and providing expertise to ensure compliance with local, national, and international hazardous materials regulations.

This position requires familiarity with the fundamentals of the International Air Transport Association regulations in addition to Department of Transportation PHMSA Regulations. This position requires a methodical approach to evaluating products in the technology industry, without sacrificing accuracy when delivering results through the release of order holds within department SLAs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree holder.
• At least 1-year functional experience in Trade Compliance - hazardous materials classification or HS code, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and classification criteria.
• Above average English communication skills (Verbal and written)
• Willing to work on night shift schedule and hybrid setup (10 days RTO/month)
