The Engineer Associate Digital and Drw Mgmt - ADT will be part of the VP TAO organization.
The VP TAO will be accountable for maximizing integrated business value across the organization. Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell's Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas, and Upstream. TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes.
Purpose & Accountabilities Review red line markup (RLM) changes in technical drawings, collaborating with team members, incorporating revisions, and contributing to overall work quality. Work in EDMS (Doc Management tool), CMMS (SAP) for Maintenance, assurance, technical support, and standardization of technical data and documents of the manufacturing sites, chemical plants, supply chain, and distribution locations.Relevant experience in onshore/offshore Energy industries in engineering designing in FEED, Detail Engineering, and As-built process. Monitor functional mailbox for Document Turnovers on a daily basis and prioritize the completion of these document turnovers based on agreed criteria and in line with asset standards.Understand data related maintenance reports, equipment drawings, circuit diagrams, P&IDs, operation, and maintenance manuals of OEMs for Energy domain operations. Knowledge of reading/interpreting engineering drawings (P&IDs, PEFS, PFDs) is an advantage.Proficient in interpreting and understanding corrections, redline markups, and updates across related engineering drawings.Open each drawing or document and perform quality checks based on the Asset's Document Management standards - return document turnovers to the originator that don't meet baseline quality standards. Send required notifications and close document turnover per instruction when complete.Update/Amend documents to SharePoint, adding metadata as per work instruction. Dimensions Individual contributor role.Shift work following operating hours of the assigned project/asset across the globe. Virtual working with key stakeholders for day-to-day operations.Effective initiative to identify and help resolve business and technical issues within areas of responsibility.A self-starter and reliable person, with good verbal and written skills in English.Exposure to all cultural backgrounds and organizational levels across the globe, across diverse time zones. What do we need from you? Skills & Requirements Strong aptitude for Learner Mindset.The successful candidate should have a Graduate or Master's Engineering degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or 4+ years relevant experience in Instrumentation / Mechanical.Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one of AutoCAD 2D/3D, Micro Station, and Other 3D (PDMS, Aveva E3D) applications; familiarity with Markups and understanding of Schematics with 2D and 3D renderings.Knowledge in Design Engineering standards for PEFS.Skilled in SharePoint, MS tools & Adobe.Basic knowledge of Document work process and process flow.Knowledge in AMS process, LMS/BMS.Knowledge in Field and ability to provide analytical solutions. Behavioral Competences: Excellent communication skills and a quick learner. Be a good team player. Ability to prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities for the area of responsibility. Flexible and adaptable to change, with a track record of demonstrating initiative, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving.Ability to apply engineering best practices, codes, and standards to identify issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions.Flexibility to move quickly across changing priorities and manage multiple Projects/Programme.A good understanding of the Upstream/DS/IG business and how it works.Ability to engage and effectively communicate at all levels inside and outside Shell and within different cultural settings.Understanding of Continuous Improvement process in TAO.
