Assistant Planner

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Reporting to Equipment Superintendent, the Assistant planner supports Maintenance Department in the Admin functions of the Department in the achievement of their set goals and key performance indicators. Responsible for creation and monitoring of work order on EAM Work Order Module. Perform all work order related function in accordance with the set policies and procedures of the Company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Order Processing 1. Responsible for receiving all service requests (Request for Repair) from Equipment Coordinator and creation of work order at ERP work order module.

2. Responsible for encoding all related information in creation of work orders.

3. Process parts ordering on the system (Pick Ticket, Parts and Labor Requisition)

4. Encodes Man Hour/Daily Time Record of Servicemen on the system.

5. File/Attach/Encode Service Report/Accomplishment Report of Servicemen.

6. Monitor closely all outstanding work orders and advises Supervisor to review these work orders.

7. Close all Work Orders that are for completion after review by Supervisor.

Preventive Maintenance and Planned Inspections

1. Receive PM Schedule/Forecast from Maintenance Planner and open PM work order for these equipment.

2. Receive Planned Inspection Forecast Schedule from maintenance planner for creation of work order

3. Process parts ordering for parts needed (Pick Ticket).

4. Encodes Man Hour/Daily Time Record of Servicemen on the system.

5. Monitor closely all outstanding work orders and advises Supervisor to review these work order.

6. Close all Work Orders that are for completion after review by Supervisor.

Backlog Management 1. Receive request (work order form from Maintenance Planner and open backlog work order for these equipment.

2. Process part ordering far parts needed (Pick Ticket).

3. Encodes Man Hour/Daily Time Record of Servicemen on the system.

4. Monitor closely all outstanding work orders and advises Supervisor to review these work orders.

5. Close all Work Orders that are for completion after review by Supervisor.

Parts Tracking 1. Preparation and submission of updated daily equipment and parts status report to equipment superintendent (summary and MDD).

2. Coordinate with buyer regarding parts status and updating on regular basis the contents of summary MDD

3. Responsible in monitoring all related forms (Work Order Service Reports, Material Transaction Slip) available at site all time.

Communication and Coordination with Customer and Other Support Group 1. Coordinate with maintenance planning group and warehouse group in relation to work order processing and tracking.

2. Responsible in communicating regularly with on-site customer (HR Admin, Accounting, Safety, Engineering) and head office.

3. Attend regular meeting with service personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Mechanical Engineering Graduate; Licensed or Non License are welcome to apply.

2. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

3. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; Creative and forward thinker.

4. Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets, and ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

5. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

6. A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in a timely mariner.
