Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for an Assistant Accountant who can work with us full-time and on-site!
Where??? Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, Cebu As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our client's finance department with various tasks related to financial record-keeping and reporting. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong aptitude for numbers and a passion for contributing to the success of a dynamic organisation.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to: Financial reporting – month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, sub-ledger reconciliations, journal preparation, entry of payables and receivables, and bank reconciliations. Payroll – assist in the preparation of fortnightly and monthly payroll 5% Asset Management – assist the Financial Controller in maintaining the entities asset register as required, as well as maintenance of the vehicle register Day-to-day accounting and administration functions Invoicing of sponsors and Academy players We would need you to be or have the following: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA is a huge plus but not essential Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment Strong understanding of financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Excel (Advance); experience with other ERP systems is a plus Experience with payroll processing software and knowledge of (Australian) payroll regulations and compliance Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross borders teams Highly organised and proactive, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative to streamline processes Be a part of the Smartsourcing crew ??!
