Job Summary
The Cloud Governance and SAAS team has defined an exciting strategy and aggressive multi-year roadmap. The team is a specialist team of individuals hired to evolve the bank's cloud services in a way that will differentiate the bank in the markets it participates in.
This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the bank's Cloud initiative that is a multi-year programme with Group CIO sponsorship.
As an Analyst, Cloud Governance, you will perform the following key responsibilities:
Understand the Cloud technology service models and control requirements
Have an awareness of the overall cloud technology strategy and carry out day-to-day work in a manner that achieves those overarching goals
Understand the regulatory environment and its impact on the cloud delivery
Manage, review and assess all assessments for applications moving to the Cloud
Maintain a library of relevant regulations and policies
Point of contact for country and product Compliance teams
Create and maintain the Cloud Atlas with a RAG status for deployments
Respond to all regulatory questions and audits with regards to the CCF and cloud deployments
Develop and manage a regulatory clearance and engagement strategy for projects and initiatives which relate to data, technology, operations, and outsourcing risk, and participate in the roll-out with business lines, functions, and other compliance teams
Provide concise and relevant status updates to stakeholders, project working groups, project steering committees and proactively escalate issues as necessary
Undertake quality assurance reviews of documentation required for regulatory engagement, at times providing input to facilitate preparation of materials required for regulatory approvals
Review new technology initiatives to ensure that appropriate controls are designed and established prior to implementation, perform technology compliance review prior to onboarding (both internal and external engagement), highlight any significant issues to relevant teams for consideration.
Our ideal candidate
Has a Bachelor's Degree in any Technology related course
Has at least 5 years of experience in Cloud Governance gained in a regulated environment such as Risk, Audit, Compliance or InfoSec (or similar) function
Knowledgeable in in-depth regulatory policies
Has exposure to Product and System Development lifecycle
Can deal with issues and improvise solutions in a fast-paced regulated environment
Can communicate well in verbal and written English
