The School of Music at Illinois Wesleyan University seeks part-time faculty to teach clarinet, cello, double bass, percussion, and trombone, and trumpet. The ideal candidates will have demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate level. Duties to commence on August 24, 2020
Primary Responsibilities:
To establish and maintain an effective, safe, and supportive learning environment.
Guide students to realize their academic, personal, and career goals.
Contribute to the goals and mission of the school.
Assist in the recruitment and retention of students.
Possess a commitment to student engagement, student success, and instructional excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in music.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with students and staff.
