**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Accounts Receivable Associate to join our finance team in Quezon City. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate cash flow for the organization. You will work cooperatively with internal teams and external clients to maintain effective relationships and support the company's financial objectives.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Billing and Invoicing:** Prepare and send invoices to clients for services rendered and products sold. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- **Payment Processing:** Monitor and record incoming payments accurately in the accounting system. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- **Collections Management:** Follow up on outstanding invoices, conducting negotiations and dialogues with customers to facilitate timely payments while maintaining positive relationships.
- **Reporting:** Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status, outstanding invoices, and collection metrics. Communicate findings to relevant stakeholders to assist in strategic decision-making.
- **Customer Communication:** Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and disputes. Provide exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with internal departments, such as sales and finance, to streamline processes and enhance overall accounts receivable operations.
- **Documentation:** Maintain organized and accurate records of accounts receivable transactions and communications for future reference.
- **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with the company's financial policies and procedures as well as local laws and regulations governing accounts receivable functions.
- **Process Improvement:** Identify areas for improvement within the accounts receivable process and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- **Experience:** A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is highly valued.
