Accounting Specialist

BASIC FUNCTION
Handles company's financial record keeping, including preparing invoices, recording payments, and managing the organization's expenses. Analyzing all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements, and developing budgets

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining and reviewing financial records.
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws.
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements
• Performs other related duties as assigned or as may be necessary

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Previous working experience as an Accounting Officer.
• Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
• Proficiency in management systems.
• Administration skills.
• Sound interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software
