Accountant Responsibilities:

1. Adhering to company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
2. Analyzing and compiling financial data.
3. Generating periodic reports like balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
4. Effectively presenting data to managers, investors, and other stakeholders.
5. Maintaining precise financial records.
6. Conducting audits and resolving discrepancies.
7. Handling tax computations.
8. Staying updated on current legislation related to finance and accounting.
9. Aiding management in decision-making through the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Accountant Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
2. Additional education or experience is preferable.
3. Possession of special licenses or certifications may be necessary.
4. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
5. Proficiency in mathematics and understanding of accounting and financial processes.
