A Account Developer' job is to sell products or services to customers, and to maintain and grow relationships with them:
Communicate with customers: Meet with customers to explain product features and benefits, and to help them find what they're looking for
Build relationships: Develop relationships with new and existing customers, and work to establish long-term rapport
Set goals: Generate leads, meet or exceed sales goals, and negotiate prices and contracts
Provide after-sales service: Respond to customer complaints and provide solutions
Monitor competitors: Gather information on competitors' products, prices, and sales activities
Collaborate with team: Work with other departments and team members
Submit reports: Provide management with reports on activity and results, such as call reports, work plans, and territory analyses
